THE BEACH is just the beginning
First of all, the sea at Medveja Beach is crystal clear.
On the beach, our guests can have lazy and relaxed days, but there are also unique sports facilities for those who prefer active holidays. So if you've had enough of laying in the sun and reading a book, you can cruise the coast in a pedalo boat or on a jet ski. Medveja Beach is very Family Friendly. Families are attracted by the safe shallow water and the beachside infrastructure (clean toilets, changing cabins, restaurants, and aquapark). Cafes, bars and restaurants situated on the beach will ensure your hunger and thirst will always be satisfied. The supermarket is also not far away, just across the street. The beach has different types of sun loungers that you can rent if you wish.
Depending on the time of the year, the beach can be peaceful (May, June, September) or busier (July, August).
Getting to the beach from VillaMia is super quick and easy! Our guests only have to cross the main road and after less than 2 minutes of walking, they'll reach the stunning beach.

Medveja rests on the blue waters of the Adriatic Sea featuring a long pebble beach, one of the most beautiful sights of the Kvarner Bay. This peaceful village offers loads of green native plant life, and numerous walking and biking trails. The cute little port with a few fishing boats gives Medveja the true charm of a small Mediterranean village.

Away from the hustle and bustle of busy cities, Medveja is a calm setting. It has all the amenities you need for a careless vacation – a supermarket, bakery, some shops, delicious restaurants, beach cafe and bar.
But if you decide to venture out, that's fine because just 3 km away you'll find yourself in Lovran.
Opatija, "the Pearl of the Adriatic" is only 7 km away. Rijeka, the European Capital of Culture 2020 only 20 km away.
